COUNTRYSIDE TOURS

Handheld Tours really believe we are handing you the keys to the countryside, as our technology and information delivers unprecedented access to the amazing places on your doorstep.

Our Countryside Tours are circular having been carefully designed to experience Britain’s breath-taking landscape, its rolling hills, enchanting forests, ancient monuments and dramatic coastline, with places to stop along the way to both enjoy the scenery and enjoy a refreshment!

Wherever possible we start walks from public parking facilities for your convenience, i.e. space to park, easier to find and often with facilities such as toilets. As these walks are situated in the countryside public transport is rarely an option (for further details see About Tours).

You have complete freedom however and can start from any point on the route and travel in either direction, but please do ensure you have permission to park if you choose not to use an acknowledged public facility.

Please remember to adhere to the Countryside Code, full details can be found here.
In brief it’s designed to ensure that the public respect, protect and enjoy the countryside.
