The Seer Green and Beaconsfield walks will introduce you to the beautiful countryside of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which lies just north west of London, easily reached on a short train journey.
These walks offer a delightful mixture of woodland interspersed with panoramic views, giving a real flavour of the Chilterns; one of England’s most wooded Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Many of the woodlands are classified as ‘Ancient seminatural’, reflecting their great age and their high wildlife interest.
The walks are mainly on un-surfaced tracks which can get muddy in wet weather. Stout footwear is recommended.
For more walks and rides in the Chilterns see the Chilterns AONB website.
Please be considerate in the countryside:
- keep to public rights of way, and leave farm gates as you find them.
- please keep dogs under close control and on leads where animals are grazing.
